Frequently Asked Questions

Each trial lesson begins with a 10 to 15-minute preflight briefing in our static simulator, where you’ll learn about the helicopter’s main controls and safety protocols. You’ll then take to the skies in either a Robinson R22 or R44 helicopter, accompanied by an experienced flight instructor, where you’ll have the chance to fly and even try your hand at hovering.

We offer two options for flight time: a 30-minute or 60-minute lesson. During both, you’ll fly around the local area and experience the thrill of hands-on control of the helicopter under the guidance of our skilled instructors.

The Robinson R22 is a two-seater helicopter perfect for a more personal experience, while the Robinson R44 is a larger four-seater, ideal for those who want more space or want to bring along a companion. Both offer 30 or 60-minute flight options and include preflight briefings and hovering exercises.

Yes! Trial lessons are a fantastic introduction for anyone interested in learning to fly. Not only do they offer an exciting one-off experience, but they also count as your first official lesson if you decide to continue with formal helicopter pilot training.
